I started this Podcast in quarantine, and I talked to people from all walks of life- basically about what they have done, and what they're trying to do. While I'm trying to gear more towards the music and comic book crowd, I'd also like to keep that looser vibe that comes from catching people where they are. I really enjoy it.

Hello you’re listening to Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work – I’m your host, and my name is Will.
This episode is called – Manifesting $16 million dollars.
From this point forth, I shall be manifesting $16 million dollars. Based on my research so far, I have learned that I am supposed to act like I have $16 million dollars already, and that will create the circumstances for $16 million dollars to arrive. Also, apparently I’m not supposed to mention it, a lot, like I can’t just sit down and go “16 million dollars, 16 million dollars, 16 million dollars.” I’m also not supposed to mention that I currently do not have $16 million dollars, or even mention that I’m aware of that fact.
You know something folks, I have a strange relationship with manifesting. For instance, this podcast. I started a podcast called Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work, and suddenly Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster starts dominating the airwaves, eating cookies with celebrity athletes in Paris for the Paris Olympics. Does that mean something, or is it just a happy coincidence?

People we made it, Episode 14, getting those numbers up – Feeling good about it.
This episode is called, “You Should Save Some Cash for the Weekend.” Today I was driving through the hills of Connecticut, wondering what the shadow work should be for today. We could talk meditation, I’m sure we could. But maybe I just don’t feel like it. Maybe today is abstract enough, without you mining the depths of your inner self.
So instead, I’m gonna say that we, the collective we, should save some of our cash until the weekend. Keep some granola in your pocket, and meditate on spending it this weekend instead. Today is Tuesday, tomorrow is Wednesday, then there’s Thursday, and then Friday is the day after Thursday. If you ask me, that’s quite a few hoops to jump through. But you can do it, unless of course you don’t want to, or even worse you said you would go somewhere, in which case there’s nothing I can do, for I am but a humble podcaster.
Let’s move on to the Cookies and Milk portion of the episode. Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster continues to dominate the international market with his guest appearances at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, leaving me to cover the Tri-State area. Today however, I’d like to feature a premium looking cookie spot in the state of Minnesota, from which our new Democratic Vice Presidential candidate, is a Senator – or something.
So Minnesota, I did some light research, it seems like the people of Minnesota will sometimes lean towards smaller, more bite-sized cookies, and then package them up in a nice box, which makes for a dynamite presentation. Shout-out to Thumbs cookies, they offer 3 packages of cookies for $27… so that is great for them. That’s Thumbs cookies, so check’em out.
The State cookie of Minnesota is a Chocolate chip cookie – which is—the most popular cookie in the United States, possibly the world.
For milk today, and this is a good one, there is a page on Wikipedia.org dedicated entirely to the phenomenon of dunking your cookies in milk. According to the website, “Dunking releases more flavour from confections by dissolving the sugars, while also softening their texture.” Okay thank you for listening to today’s episode of cookies and milk and shadow work, as the philosopher Socrates once said, “Later on my dudes!”

P.S. (8.5.2024) -- Hey people, I really did run a bit late with today's episode so I might have to clean up the Description part of this episode at a later date. In my defense... (...) ... I had no idea this podcast was going to try for 5 days a week, might have to "scale down" to 3 or 4 per week.

Hello, you’re listening to Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work. I’m your host, and my name is Will.
It might be time for a DJ name to – inject a little funk into this milky series.
This Episode is Entitled Over – Calculating Your Weekend Plans --
Right now, at the time of this recording, millions of potential listeners across the globe are over – calculating their weekend plans. Young people are about to go out there and spend $175 when $60 would be more than enough. This isn’t just a shadow work issue. This is a real issue.
No look, if you planned a day trip to Six Flags, I am not saying you should cancel your day trip – I’m not saying that. Just don’t stack a bunch of other stuff on top of it, it’s not that kind of weekend, in my opinion. Actually it does look like we’re getting some rain this weekend so I recommend Saturday instead of Sunday for Six Flags.
We need to remind ourselves that sometimes the cure for the blues isn’t a night out, but a day at the beach or a walk in the park. You know what? It might even be time to pick a new TV series. That’s right people, I am going there with that trash talk. Some people might complain, and be like, “Will, there hasn’t been a good season of television in four or five years.” And to them I simply say, “We’re not supposed to be binge-watching anymore. We’re supposed to be watching 2 or 3 episodes at a time, no more and no less.”
If you’re feeling down this weekend, don’t be afraid to double up on cookies and milk. Personally, I’ve found traditional Oreos to be the ideal candidate for mass consumption this week. Crushing the oreos and milk this week. I ate like 9 Oreos in one sitting and there were relatively no consequences. Usually there are consequences for everything. Consequences for everything you do, and everything you do not do. But when you go deep with the cookies and milk, sometimes everything stays the same, which is what I like. So keep things level this weekend, keep it chill.
Be open to new experiences, but do not quit your job. And let that be a message to all the employees out there. You are not the only person who is thinking about quitting your job. So stop being so obvious about it.
Alright people it’s Friday and Cookies and Milk and Shadow work has been rocking you all week long. Monday-through-Friday, all new episodes, give it up for Will. If you’ve enjoyed one or two or three of these episodes, please consider leaving a tip via the venmo in my linktr.ee –
Also the review of the new graphic novel beneath, written by Steven S. DeKnight with art by Michael Gaydos will make its official debut this weekend, and there will be more comic book material to follow so please stay on the lookout.
Thanks for listening and as the great stoic philosopher Marcus Aurelius once said, “Later on, my dudes!”

People of Connecticut, and the greater tri-state area. I know that you will be doing shrooms tonight, after work. It is time, and you can feel it.
You’re listening to Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work. I’m your host, and my name is Will.
This episode is entitled – “The shrooms you do tonight – are gonna stay with you forever.”
Lately there has been a problem that won’t get out of your way. None of your traditional social graces will change it for you. But tonight, when you go out, and the sun starts to set, someone is going to offer you shrooms, with that playful little giggle that just says yes for you. Congratulations.
I personally recommend watching two films back to back – in my case – School of Rock followed by the J.J. Abrams-directed Star Wars film from 2009. Shadow work is cancelled for today. At no point should you even think about developing your emotions.
For cookies and milk, I just read from the Danbury, Connecticut outlet – the News Times – that a very cookie friendly ice cream shop called Munchin Hedgehog just opened up in Brookfield, CT, and is owned and operated by a young man of just 15 years of age. Cookies are heavily featured on the Munchin Hedgehog Instagram, man, that kid has cookies that I don’t even know about. So shout out to Munchin Hedgehog, I’m sure he’ll do well. I just wanna say this though, I don’t think he’s in it for the long haul. I think he’s just going to keep it going for a couple years and then flip the business. That doesn’t mean I don’t support his endeavor, in fact as a customer – I feel I should be allowed to be indifferent on some level, I’m just saying what I think. That’s Munchin Hedgehog in Brookfield, Connecticut.
Anyway thanks for listening to cookies and milk and shadow work, episode 11, as Bruce Lee once said, “Later on my dudes!”

Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work; A Podcast --- Episode X --- Feels Like a Friday
Wednesday Jul 31, 2024
Wednesday Jul 31, 2024
You’re listening to Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work. I’m your host, and my name is Will.
This episode is entitled – “Feels like a Friday.”
Today feels like a Friday, but it just isn’t. Which begs the question, how should we proceed. Who gets to leave work early? Should you go out tonight, or should you just suck it up and pretend to feel like it’s actually Wednesday. Let’s take a moment to reflect.
I’m gonna say leave early. Leave early, and call out of work Thursday and Friday, because this summer is just slipping through our desperate, clumsy fingers.
No, I know, we have stuff to do, but seriously people, how much longer can we keep doing this? We need to start cracking this whole --- more pay for a shorter work day code. We need to feel the grass between our toes. We need to go for another round of cookies and milk.
For cookies and milk today, let’s do Croatian Cookies. Cookies from Croatia. If I remember correctly, Croatia is a country so marred by civil war that they actually decided to just chill out. And they’ve got the cookies to show for it.
I’m going to name some cookes from Croatia, I’m going to say their names.
Breskvice – Croatian Peach cookies
Gluten free Croatian Bear paw cookies – those look delicious
North Croatian Vanilla Cookies
And Croatian Honeybread Cookies
And milk today man, I dunno. I feel like I’m always trying to escape this part of the podcast, like--- what am I running from? And for that matter, what am I running towards? Like I try to psych myself up, like, “Hey what about oat milk, oat milk is kinda cool.” But then I’m like, “Yeah, whatever. Oat milk.”
Anyway this is Episode 10 of Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work. As the French philosopher Francis Bacon once said, “Later on, my dudes!”

Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work; A Podcast --- Episode 9 --- Trust Issues
Tuesday Jul 30, 2024
Tuesday Jul 30, 2024
You’re listening to Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work, I’m your host and my name is Will.
This episode is entitled --- Trust Issues
That’s right peeps --- we’re doing real shadow work today, and real shadow work is difficult. We, the collective we, need to work on our trust issues. This is going to take time. I should really call this episode “Trust Issues Part 1,” but I am sick of that, I’m sick of Part ones. Seriously just let an episode be it’s own entity, with a solid beginning, middle, and Grand Finale.
Let’s get into it.
Step 1 – Stop wanting to trust everybody. Stop checking --- to see if you can trust everybody. If you see someone who you do not know, and they don’t know you either, get over it. No one is asking you to trust each other. Just be polite, and get on with your day.
Now, some people might be listening to this, and thinking “well how am I supposed to trust you?”
(Deep breath)
The truth is, maybe have been sort of… untrustworthy lately. I haven’t been honest. I haven’t been honest, as a podcaster….. and I haven’t been honest with myself.
(Deep Breath.) Wow. Wow man.
Alright let’s talk cookies and milk – uhhm, I have to keep my other podcast, The Lemon Drop Sessions, going, so let’s talk lemon cookies for a minute --- and I will segue from there. Apparently, there is a very wide variety of lemon cookie recipes. It is a lot, and honestly, I feel like we have dealt with a lot already. This cookie and milk session has been really jamming me up, like the first few days – was like – a day at Six Flags, but the cookie and milk section of this podcast – it takes work.
For milk, this is a true story that I am about to tell you. This is not an ad, even though it probably should be. Okay, so listen carefully – those Ronnybrook, personal sized milks – man, those are awesome. Ronnybrook was actually recommended to me by a guy who knows a lot about nutrition. So.
Let’s get into some Lemon Drop Sessions. Uhh Lemon Drop Sessions. My co-host Jeff L., also known as JT SmoothFlow—has given me the go-ahead to shout-out the underground Connecticut-based rapper, Young Shawn. There is a link to one of my new favorite Young Shawn songs in the description for this podcast. Boom. linktr.ee/HAIPOD4
Finally, I have been putting this off for over a year, but it is time to bring back “Best Plates Under $27.” And look people, I’m just like you, okay. I don’t want to leave anybody out, I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but we need to be more conscious of deals.
The first four winners, even though we are all winners, are the following restaurants.
Bellissimo Family Restaurant in Naugatuck, CT. This restaurant was recommended to me by the rapper A$hon Voyage. Goat cheese cold pizza, and a 2 dollar soda. Check out Ashon Voyage on YouTube and Instagram, look out for the song Sealab 2021.
TK Wildwings in Danbury, CT. -- 2 hot dogs with your choice of topping, and two, cold beers. If I told you their deal for happy hour, you would not believe me.
Lakeside Pub – Danbury, CT. -- All I can say, is thank you. Thank you. Walking Taco, Landshark beer.
O’Connors Pub in New Milford – Let me tell you something folks, those guys should start a podcast. Currently one of the top contenders for Best Plates Under $27 – O’Connors New Milford – Bud Light and an order of mozzarella sticks.
Okay, that is the end of the episode. It’s Episode 9. The first 10 episodes will be packaged up for sale and will include two bonus episodes. It’s going to be 12 episodes for a dollar. Think it over.
As the philosopher Plato once said, “Later on, my dudes!”

Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work; A Podcast --- Episode 8 --- The Violence in Bangladesh

Hello, you’re listening to Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work. I’m your host, and my name is Will.
This episode is entitled: The Violence in Bangladesh.
Today I’d like to deviate slightly from the show’s traditional subject matter of Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work, and talk a little bit about the violence in Bangladesh. Unemployment in Bangladesh is very high right now, with as many as 18 million young Bangladeshi people out of work. University students in the country of Bangladesh protested for job reform, and based on my research, they have succeeded. The Bangladeshi government is now looking to roll back some unfair policies. However the peaceful protests by Bangladeshi students and young people were met with violence from opposing quote unquote activist groups – I mean, people bringing guns to a peaceful protest don’t sound like activists to me they sound like – posers who wish they had joined the military --- and wearing fatigues that don’t belong to them.
What the Bangladesh people are dealing with, is something that I would describe as a real problem, which begs the question, what does Shadow Work have to do with real problems? When you are faced with a real problem, it’s hard to believe that Shadow Work, let alone cookies and milk, can solve your problems. In Bangladesh, the internet has been shut down, and a midnight curfew has been imposed. I think it goes without saying that without the internet, our own unemployment statistics in the United States would be much, much worse. And by the way, jobs in the United States are pretty so-so in my opinion. If people think that I just arrived at doing a podcast about Cookies and Milk and Shadow Work, they would be wrong.
In fact, I don’t know if this podcast is going to pan out for me, so if you enjoy the podcast, please leave a tip for the series at my Venmo account. The link is in the description. Your tip will go directly to fund independent music projects that will change the world.
I think it is in the best interest for the people of Bangladesh to have their internet restored on the dub-dub, which means as soon as possible. Let’s do some cookies. The website http://www.lovingbangladeshikitchen.com/2014/02/butter-cookies.html
Includes a recipe for butter cookies that look simply dynamite. The link is in the description. Apparently there is a significant Bangladesh population in the United Kingdom, where the remains of the British empire has effectively appropriated Bangladesh cookie recipes for their own material gains. The people of the United Kingdom often refer to cookies as biscuits, and they call soccer football.
Let’s move on to the milk portion of the episode – I say dealer’s choice. I really don’t know what the future holds for the milk portion of these episodes, in the series. You know, maybe it’s not for me to say, what kind of milk people should drink, in their diminishing spare time.
Anyway, thanks for listening, if you enjoyed this episode, please consider leaving a tip, and as the great philosopher Socrates once said, “Later on my dudes.”
